Product Describtion
Resistant dextrin is processed from starch. It is a kind of low-calorie glucan extracted and refined by industrial technology of indigestible components of roasted dextrin. It belongs to low molecular water-soluble dietary fiber. Soluble fiber dextrin is an indigestible dextrin produced when corn starch is treated with heat and acid, and it is produced by isolating an oligosaccharide-rich fraction from corn syrup. Both of these novel, low-digestible carbohydrates are produced in such a way that branching and the number of α-1,6-glycosidic bonds are increased. Soluble fiber dextrin have been reported to have a decreased in vitro hydrolytic digestion. Also, they attenuate glycemic and insulinemic responses and have reduced energy values.
